STURGIS— The Sturgis City Council approved some resolutions relative to the various rallies and street closures and open container requests at the July 6th meeting.
Resolution 2026-25 was a request for the street closure and lifting the open container ban and police escort for a parade during the Mustang Rally September 5th.
Resolution 2026-26 was basically the same thing for the Bronco Rally September 26th.
And of course resolution 2026-30 for lifting the open container ban for the motorcycle rally.
Finally, resolution 2026-35 was for street closure and lifting the open container ban for Kool Deadwood Nites overflow Show and Shine on August 19th.
All resolutions were approved.
