WHITEWOOD—The Whitewood city council took a little time to honor “superhero” Parker Stoltenberg at its meeting on October 19th.
Mayor Sara Fitzgerald read a proclamation announcing Parker Stoltenberg Day.
She then gave the hero his own cape.
“Parker is a good kid with a heart of gold and recently he was in a contest for a Stan Lee comic book to be featured in the comic and he made it through several rounds but in the last round unfortunately he was 11th in the last round,” said Fitzgerald.
They had planned for a Parker Stoltenberg Day before the final round but decided to honor him anyway.
Friends and family were on hand to honor Parker.
