STURGIS— The weekly Sturgis Gathering Market at Brewberry Bistro features artisans who make just about anything.
For instance, Jessica Ranek sells eggs, Monument Health is doing blood screenings and there are artists too.
Co-Director Rick Grosek of Bear Butte Farms is pleased with the vendors.
“Our market focuses on local. Every vendor has to have some kind of local product. They can’t have mass produced items. We have some traditional farmers markets that provide produce for us,” he said.
He added the event demonstrates the talent in the area when it comes to creativity from the vendors.
Hours on Friday are from 4 to 7 pm every week until September except for the two weeks of the rally. From October through May the Market is at Brewberry Bistro.
